Guest Guide

All you need to know about for your stay with us.

Payments

All outstanding balances must be paid prior to arrival. Payments are accepted through booking platform partners, Zelle, Venmo, and/or ApplePay. If you need help with payments or refunds, don’t hesitate to let us know and we’ll get your sorted immediately.

Check-In and Check-Out

Standard check-in is at 4:00pm and standard check-out time is 11:00am. If you’re arriving earlier or need some extra time, just let us know your ETA and we’ll do our best to accommodate. We try to be flexible but please understand we are at the mercy of our staff’s schedules and incoming guests. No early check-ins or late checkouts can be accommodated when there is a same-day turnover.

Security Deposits

A standard security deposit of $100 is held using your card on file usually 1-3 days before the date of your arrival. This hold is simply an authorization on the card, not an actual transaction, therefore no refund will be needed. The amount held may vary depending on factors including but not limited to the type, size, or location of the property you are booking, the dates of your stay, or the nature of your visit.

Cancellation Policy

  • The Airbnb Strict cancellation policy allows guests to receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before a listing's check-in time.

  • In the event of a cancellation within 48 hours, the guest is only entitled to 50% refund, regardless of how far out the check-in date is.

  • A 50% refund will also be given if the cancellation takes place at least seven days prior to the booking date. Furthermore, the cleaning fee will be refunded to them, but the service fee is not. Refunds are not available if the guest cancels less than 7 days prior to the arrival date.

 

Age Requirement

The Property must be booked and occupied at all times by an adult over the age of 21.

Maximum Number of Guests

Please reach out to the host if you are exceeding the maximum number of guests. We try to be as accommodating as can be and can allow certain situations. 

 

Vacationing with your pet

We do not charge extra for your first two pets that you bring. After that, we do charge$50 extra for each pet for the whole stay. While we encourage you to bring your pets, it is important that you please look after them. Any damages they create will be charged to the guest.

Parking

You and your guests can park in the driveways and on the street. On our listings page we do have the days of the month that the street sweeper passes so please avoid parking on the street to avoid any tickets. 

Good Neighbor Policy

We like to have fun and want you to have fun, too! However, we also want to be respectful of our neighbors and maintain good relationships with those whose livelihood depends on your behavior. Please honor quiet hours and be mindful of noise (especially outdoors) between 10:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M.

Owner Areas

The property may have certain areas that are off-limits to you and your guests, including owners’ closets and garages. Do not attempt to access these areas during your stay.

Smoking

Smoking outdoors is allowed but smoking indoors is not. If any evidence of smoking indoors is detected during your stay, or upon departure, you will automatically be charged a fee of $500, plus any additional cleaning expenses incurred.

Amenities & Supplies

An initial complimentary supply of paper towels, garbage bags, bath tissue, and soaps are provided. Guests are responsible for the purchase of any additional supplies they may require during their stay.

Lost and Found

Neither the owner of the Property nor Golden Palms Vacation is responsible for lost or misplaced items, or those left behind by you or other guests. Of course, if we find something, we’ll let you know and ship it back asap.
